SHERIFF HUTTON VILLAGE HALL IS CURRENTLY CLOSED
We have been looking carefully at the detailed guidance (see: https://acre.org.uk ) regarding Community Buildings and the 4 step roadmap out of Covid 19 lockdown announced on 22nd February. We have also taken advice from ACRE and confirmed that they agree with the view we have come to, which is as follows:
At Step 2 of the roadmap, on or after 12th April, Community Buildings are permitted to re-open. However, only a very restricted range of activities are permitted. These do include serving food and drink as take-away and wakes or weddings with a maximum of 15 people. We have agreed that the Hall will re-open for the permitted activities. If you wish to discuss whether a specific activity is permitted, please get in touch.
At Step 3, on or after 17th May, a much wider range of indoor activities will be permitted, in accordance with the “rule of six” and current social distancing measures.
